OMF Annual Scientific Working Group Symposium

2nd Annual Ocular Melanoma Scientific Working Group Symposium (OMSWG)
October 22-23, 2010

The Ocular Melanoma Foundation is holding its second annual scientific symposium October 22 - 23, 2010 in Boston, MA.

The annual symposium is aimed at bringing top ocular melanoma researchers and clinicians together to accelerate medical research and drug development with the goal of identifying promising future treatments and, ultimately, a cure for ocular melanoma.

To help achieve this goal, the Ocular Melanoma Foundation and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are again joining forces to promote and facilitate more collaborative research efforts amongst different disciplines and research centers.

This year we encourage participants to submit abstracts in preparation for an evening poster session. Two abstracts will be chosen for talks that evening. We invite people from all levels and institutions to submit abstracts as this is a great way to facilitate communication and collaboration.

Again this year, we will be presenting the Ocular Melanoma Foundation's Outstanding Junior Faculty Award and are asking for nominations to help honor and support junior faculty who show promise and dedication in the field of ocular melanoma.

Symposium Agenda: The agenda is still being finalized but a preliminary agenda can be found here. Please check back often for any updates to this agenda.

We hope you can join us.
Together we can see a cure.
