The Largest Gathering of OM Patients & Caregivers in the World

OMF's flagship Eye Am Not Alone (EANA) Conference is moving west!

In partnership with Stanford and Dr. Prithvi Mruthyunjaya, the 7th annual conference will combine broad scientific updates from uveal melanoma experts with a unique opportunity to network with and learn from fellow OM community members.

The EANA retreat is the largest gathering of ocular melanoma patients and caregivers in the world. With the backing of generous sponsors such as Castle Biosciences, all costs of the meeting, including your meals/snacks, the event space, A/V, printed materials and overhead for support staff, are covered, save for a small $25 fee (this also ensures OMF has an accurate headcount).

We realize that getting to California and staying a night or two in Silicon Valley is not cheap. If you or anyone you know would like to attend the EANA conference, but is experiencing financial hardship or in any way finding it hard to come up with the funds to make it to EANA, just let us know. We have grants available for travel through our amazing TAG (Travel Assistance Grant) program.  Read more below.

Travel Assistance Grants

OMF is once again opening up its Travel Assistance Grant (TAG) program to provide funds for Retreat attendees evidencing financial hardship.

If you and your caregiver feel that attending the EANA conference would be worthwhile from a medical and/or personal perspective but feel that paying for travel and lodging costs are prohibitive, OMF can work with you. We have alternative lodging options and for those with marked financial hardship including limited or full loss of income, disability or other personal constraints making attendance difficult, OMF will be offering grants through the TAG program.  These grants are made possible by the generosity both of OMF donors in the past and those EANA attendees to offset their own costs through a direct OMF donation.

For more information, please email TAG@ocularmelanoma.org and reference the EANA Retreat. The application process is similar but not as involved as the typical TAG grant application process.
