The outpouring of support and generous donations to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation is being recognized with a $200,000 grant in Georgia Kondoleon’s name to the Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health’s Melanoma Research Institute of Excellence (MRIE) — $100,000 from OMF and $100,000 matched by Jefferson. This grant will provide critical funding needed for leading edge research, continued testing and ultimately a cure. Read more information here.

In Memory of Georgia Kondoleon
In April 2017, the Kondoleon family lost a wonderful, beautiful, and loving person. Mrs. Georgia Kondoleon was diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma in 2012. After being treated and living cancer free for 3 years, the cancer returned. She leaves behind two sons and her husband.
